The aim of this pillar is the intervention – through consultation and systematic study of international good practices – in the decision-making centres, both at the macro-scale level (Ministry of Health, Health Regions, Administrative Regions) and the micro-scale one (hospitals, municipalities), in order to exert an influence on the design and implementation of programs at all levels of prevention and care. In this context, the priorities are:

  • documentation on good practices and their presentation in scientific journals and for a
  • institutional involvement of FFN GR representatives in statutory bodies, working groups and decision-making bodies (Parliament – Ministry of Health – Health Regions – Greek National Health Service Organisation, etc.)
  • collaboration with scientific societies in order to develop synergies and joint actions
  • promotion of excellence and innovation in order to improve quality of life for the elderly
